This unit in Paramount, CA on the rooftop of a church office building, has a few issues that have contributed to its failure. We found a couple of shorts in the wiring and fixed them. We traced and re-wired the whole system, and even replaced a few possibly problematic components. The heating and air conditioning a this office building has had intermittent problems for a while now. But thanks to a little perseverance and some technical know how. Thomson AC has fixed the problem in its entirety. If you’re in Cypress, CA or any of the the surrounding areas, please call us with your air conditioning and heating problems and we will be happy to assist you in resolving them the way we have here.

It’s no secret that a business these days can spend a pretty penny on its servers, as a business can hardly function without a good network. But when you put the rack and a bunch of other computer equipment in a closet or small room with little to no ventilation, you’ll find the room heats up rather quick. The problem is when these units get too hot, they run the risk of simply overheating, or just dying all together. So it’s extremely important to keep the temperature down.

Now there are many options when trying to keep your expensive servers cool. But we have had the best success with the mini split. Sized properly to overcome the heat load, and you can maintain proper operational temperatures for your equipment. This will not only extend its life expectancy, but could prevent costly breakdowns. This saving you bigtime in the long run.

The recent job that we did for “The Paper Company” in Irvine, CA took care of all of these issues with an affordable mini-split air conditioner. They were both impressed and thankful for the quality of workmanship that went into their server room. Thanks to a cooler environment for their servers, they will hopefully avoid a costly breakdown.

We have many pictures and videos on mini-split air conditioners, so make sure to check them out on our gallery and blog pages or just give us a call at (562) 201-3014 and we’ll be happy to help.</h1

Before the summer season starts, it is a good idea to have your central AC system tuned up. This usually consists of a filter change, refrigerant pressure check and a visual inspection of your ductwork and all other equipment. Different companies express what it is they do by calling it different fancy names (“28 point checkup”, “precision tune up”, or just maintenance), but the basics remain the same. And while the individual items could seem to be relatively insignificant, not doing them can ruin your system in the long run. But even before that, you can spend exponentially more money running your poorly maintained air conditioning system. If you are looking for a way to lower utility bills and cut costs this summer, tuning up your homes HVAC system continually proves to be a worthwhile and sound investment. Call Thomson AC today and schedule an appointment. Don’t wait too long, as rates tend to go up during the heat waves and most air conditioning companies can’t keep up with the call volume during peak season. You will get a better rate and better service if you take care of it while temperatures are mild. If you need a referral, have any questions, or if you’re not in our area, please still feel free to call us. Visit our contact page or just call ThomsonAC at (562) 201-3014. We are happy to help. We also provide a wide range of products and services that we can offer you to keep your air conditioner running smoothly this summer. Including all filter types and sizes for you “do-it-yourselfers” and tune up specials starting at $49 upon request. Don’t wait. Call today!
